Architectural discipline
Architectural discipline has introduced some new features as well as enhanced the existing ones. The below sections details the changes in the Architectural discipline.
- Space planning tools — the space from shape and space from program utilities are now integrated with Architectural space tools ease designing space models.
- Place Object tool is now centrally accessible from ribbon, replaces former Place User Defined Types used to place building components of across the disciplines.
- Place By options, such as From Space, From Element, and Grid allows a wall be placed around the space shape or placed along the grid when a grid line is selected in the model. The wall placement from selected building element is also possible.
- Stair Placement ribbon complements the stair configuration and alignment settings done quickly without interfering the Stair Placement Settings toolbar.
